Why Is Bronze The Best Choice For Church Bells?
- Bronze Church Bells are made of an alloy created by combing copper and tin, resulting in a stronger metal than either of its parts.
- Bronze church bells resonate with a tremendous sound when struck with a clapper or automatic bell ringing equipment.
- The key or tone of the bell is determined by the shape and size of the bell itself.
- The clapper also must be sized to exact specifications to deliver the best sound. Too light and the full sound of the bell will not be realized. Too heavy and an overzealous bell ringer could cause damage to the bell.
