Meneely Church Bell of Troy, NY Restored and Relocated from Massachusetts to Texas
This magnificent bell was cast in 1888 by the Clinton H. Meneely Bell Company of Troy, NY. It has a weight of approximately 1,800 pounds and has a stunning voice.
Bell Restoration and Re-installation by Church Specialties
We found this bronze bell in a church in East Sandwich, MA and brought it in for a full restoration. It was bead blasted, cleaned, polished and fitted with an inside striker, so the bell could be fixed rather than swinging. It is now controlled by a Chime Master Automatic Bell Controller and can be scheduled to run on demand with very easy-to-use technology. Here it is being delivered and getting ready to take its place in its new home in the Assumption Chapel in Palacios, Texas.
